I love the title of the mission briefing - another patrol mission, really? Such a mood. Anyway, on easy it lives up to that description at least. You'll come up against some pirates, you need to defend some helpless cadets. After that's done, you're going to go grab a cup of coffee, not too long, but long enough to wait around five or so minutes for the docking/boarding/hypering of the shuttle to complete. Not a terrible battle at all (on easy), but not anything to write home about either.
Okay not going to lie, I fell asleep during this mission. Not like I dozed off, no I actually passed out while waiting on the shuttle at the end to be docked with. Fortuantely no enemies came at the end to mess with my shuttle or the transport that was going to board it because I would've been annoyed. Again though, why would someone make a mission with 6 minutes of dead space? Did not seem tested.
It has an excellent start. A very nice idea behind it, just badly implemented. I tried to get behind that ETR and push it, so it would go faster but it wouldn.t The trick btw is to break it into two sets of commands. If it attempts to execute the order of docking from too far away it takes ages tog et tehre because it flies slower. You have to first give it an order to fly pretty close (way points) to the shuttle and then queue a second order to dock with it. In any case, interesting premise, badly implemented.
Nice and simple mission. Player has to pick up the pace to burn down the ATR and the rest is just singing to yourself. There is however a substantial amount of waiting, and dents completely on the mission's playability. Fly it but be ready to sit on your hands for a while.
I'm sorry but I had to give this mission a score of 1. I spent more time waiting for the ETR than I did actual flying, the missions story is boring and there is a spelling error in the mission goals. No bugs to report.
Nothing like a long wait at the end of the mission. Ugh.
I didn't like the XWA version of this mission, but it seems the mission works better on XvT. Pretty chalenging in Hard and it provides some interesting dogfights. A must for all XvT players.
No bugs, but just a run-of-the-mill mission. Nothing special to it. Very simple as well.
I just love this mission, it's very realistic. The storyline is best then ever;)))
no problems
Great Mission Mike perfect for a person who wants romance:P. Yay I got high score:)
Mission is great. I love story and I am waiting for more. You could add voice messages to make it even better, but that's something what can be easily done. Good job.
Indeed. Mission is great. :)))
I just love it! Great mission, I want to fly the next of the series...
There are currently no open bug reports for this battle.
